Portfolio Reduction Update
As mentioned previously, we stated that we will reduce the portfolio of each team if the capital is not properly deployed or if there is no plan on deployment, by Q1 2023. Having reviewed the portfolio of each team, here is the final decision. The following team's capital will be reduced by:
VIP International Chapter: $20,000 (this reduction will be reflected in the next month's Portfolio snapshot but the reduction should already be reflected on Interactive Brokers)
EIP Allas: $3,000
EIP Viridi: $3,000
As for the rest of the teams not mentioned, we are pleased with your existing deployment strategy or upcoming plans, so keep up the good work!
For IC, Allas and Viridi, all is not lost. If you are able to show that you intend to increase your deployment or have a plan for the upcoming deployment, we will be happy to increase your portfolio capital again.
Club Membership Policy 2023
It is a privilege to be a part of the Z Club. We don't say this out of pride, it is a fact that you get access to resources and network that you don't normally get in school. You are also selected after a rigorous interview process so good job on that!👏🏼
However, this privilege cannot be taken for granted. Many people are interested in joining us and we will be having another round of recruitment soon. Some of you are not as active as we hope, and that affects the culture and productivity of the rest in the club. You know who you are.
In order to put everyone on the same page, we have discussed and finalised the Club Membership Policy 2023 (subject to change in the future and you will be updated when it happens). For now, please read through the document carefully and make any necessary changes to your behaviour this quarter. The document has been sent to you via the group chats.
If, due to change in circumstances in your life, you cannot commit to the Club anymore, please feel free to let us know. There is no shame and we love to keep the relationship.

Talk at Essec Business School
Essec is a French business school that offers an international experience for its students. We were recently connected with their Finance Club and Shinya will be sharing about the family office scene and Star Magnolia Capital with the students on 27 April, 7pm onwards. Persis will also share about the Z Club and we will open the upcoming recruitment to them. Who knows, you may have French friends looking at stocks with you soon ;)
