We certainly gained more than just information over the weekend as the Z Club met Mr Kok Lin Teoh. If you are curious as to what insights I am referring to, read the Reflections from some of our students, posted just yesterday.

EIP Portfolio Update

It was a busy night on 4 September 2022. Right after we met Mr Teoh, our EIP batch of 2023 had their monthly portfolio update. We went through new names like Spotify and American Water Works. The batch also looked at how some of their stocks have performed over the last month.

Grace Ang scored a win!

We are so proud of Grace Ang from EIP 2023! If you have not met her before, she is the lady second from the left.

Grace took part in the 2022 Morgan Stanley Singapore Mentorship Program (Investment Banking Division) and her team won the Case Study Challenge! It was a gruelling journey but that makes victory all the sweeter. Now, Grace is fast-tracked to the bank's 2023 Program Application! Let's hear about her journey from her:

"Undertaking the Morgan Stanley Mentorship Programme (Investment Banking Division) over the past 1.5 months was definitely a Herculean task to say the least. 

However, the immense fulfillment that came during the course of my journey through this, as well as seeing the fruition of my team’s efforts by the end of the stint was a mixture of both intense joy and an acute sense of satisfaction. 

Over the month, we had stayed up as a team till the wee hours of 4-5am on the daily, to create our investment banking deck that would be presented to the head honchos of Morgan Stanley. Throughout the time crafting up the deck with my team, I think the most satisfying point came when we were able to truly tell a story through the M&A acquisition we were proposing.

Being able to present our team’s deck in front of the professionals of Morgan Stanley was truly a privilege, and it was definitely an experience to behold. My key takeaways from the entire programme and competition would be the honing of critical skills required to formulate a well-rounded proposition that is convincing to whoever the target audience may be. Additionally, the team spirit and camaraderie that was fostered between my team and me was also an amazing experience that had unfolded.  Our team placing 1st in the competition was an euphoric moment for all of us, and it has truly be an honour and privilege to participate in the programme!"
