What does a 12 year old and a 77 year old have in common?
Where can you find different generations sitting at the same table and sharing ideas about a common topic? You may be hard-pressed to find this even around a family dinner table.
That’s where we come in.
Here’s introducing, for the very first time, our Investoon Game Show!
In the months of September and October, Next Gen Investors Endowment collaborated with North West Sustainability Forum and West Coast Park RN to run two Investoon Game Shows.
Members of the public got to read our Invest! Impact investoon while sipping on some good Vitasoy (read the investoon to see the link)!
Besides that, Tiffany also conducted fun and informative sharing on the basics of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing. An overwhelming 85% of participants indicated that they had a moderate to good understanding of what ESG investing is after the session.
Subsequently, we played Kahoot! where participants teamed up and competed against each other - fastest fingers first!
Following this, participants engaged in group case study discussion. They were not shy to also share their views with the rest of the group after!
For the session with Yew Tee Community Club, we were honoured to have Mayor Alex Yam join us for the fireside chat alongside Shinya. For the session with West Coast, the participants had no lack in firing away with all sorts of questions about investing as Shinya and Tiffany took the floor.
100% of feedback responses indicated that the participants either had no investment background or had some investment background but without ESG considerations.
However, after the end of the game show, more than 90% of participants indicated that they now had a moderate to good understanding of ESG investing.
We are so glad to achieve our goal of teaching and inspiring the community about ESG and investing!

This is the first but definitely not the last time we will be conducting our Investoon game shows. Subscribe to stay on top of our upcoming sessions.
If you have any enquiries or wish to also conduct Investoon game shows for your organisation, please write in to admin@genzclub.org and we will be very glad to see how we can make it happen for you!
