Meet the Investor - Ser Jing CHONG (The Good Investors)
On 11 December 2022, we ended the week with a wonderful chat with The Good Investor's Ser Jing CHONG.
Jing Zhe ANG (EIP 2023), Joseph CHONG (EIP 2023) and Mouli RAJ (VIP 2024) prepared insightful questions that drew out the best from Ser Jing. We had some great questions from the other members as well.
Our 3 facilitators also wrote their reflections from the session. Jing Zhe took away 3 key points - (i) Establish a clear investment framework at the outset; (ii) Management is the ultimate determinant of a company's moat; and (iii) Have a long-term mindset. Bowen is an analyst at Discerene. Before joining the Firm, Bowen worked at Causeway Capital Management and MIG Capital. Bowen has a Master of Philosophy degree in Economics from Oxford University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine. In his free time, Bowen enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, and playing table tennis.
